In addition to basketball, unihockey and baseball, we found out more about other lesser-known sports. We started the week with a few ice-breaker games to get to know each other better. Then we started with slackline in the morning. In the afternoon we went to Feldkirch and played baseball. On Tuesday we got to know a new sport: Lacrosse, which is played with a stick with a net. This sport comes from Canada and is the country's national sport. In the afternoon, a coach from the Czech Republic came to us and showed us the sport of floorball. On Wednesday we started with rugby. Rugby is a very strenuous sport; we got wet and dirty, but it was all the more fun. In the afternoon, we played basketball, different throwing techniques were explained to us and we played some matches. On Thursday morning, we went to the golf course in Gams. It was a great experience even though it was cold. When we returned to school in the afternoon, we played Frisbee, but that wasn't so easy, because the disc has to be held in a special way. We worked well together, had a great week and would like to thank everyone who showed us their sport.
